So my friend had a bunny that her daughter was allergic to. I told her to bring him over and we would see if I or my sons were allergic, we are not. So we kept him. Any tips on bunny rearing?
So I weeded some of the flower garden today to give him his favourite, dandelion leaves. I was using my weed puller but of course that pulls up everything. So when I brought them inside I had to clip off
the roots and wash them and I used the salad spinner. I made the bunny a dandelion salad!!
We need to get him an outdoor cage so that he can go outside too.
Willem took right to him from the start.
The vegetables are really coming along now. I have to finish harvesting my lettuce before the cucumber bushes cover them completely. I have a few cucumbers starting, a few tomatoes starting and I have a few large zucchinis and yellow squash that I will harvest soon. I also have hot peppers and some small green or red peppers starting.
I am not sure about the onions. Were they supposed to be separated when they were planted? They are growing in clusters like they were when I bought them.
I’ll spend the day weeding if my back can handle it. Also some fertilizer will be in order too. New pics coming soon.
