I can’t believe how much the garden has grown in just a short time. We have already harvested two heads of lettuce. I am having issues with my onions though. How am I supposed to separate the onion bulbs for the green onions when the roots are totally tangled? So I broke up the roots a bit then planted the whole clump of onions. I have three different types of those style of onions. I also was given onion bulbs that I think I will plant to see how they turn out.
We still have to make the tomato teepees, I bought the twine for them.
I had just planted the okra, the yellow squash and pumpkins. I was also just planting the watermelons on the 13th as well.
I just planted the eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli, onions and sprouts before we left for NS on June 14th.
I planted these the other day just before the picture was taken.
