Nothing happened in the Windmill gardens today due to the rain. We took today as a shopping day and a day for car repairs. I did get to meet the new owner of our Canadian Tire store. He owned the store in Port Hawkesbury NS and has now bought this one. Small world isn’t it, since I grew up in Port Hawkesbury for 10 years of my life.
I bought 36 lilies to go in front of the covered porch and another few different flowering plants for the victory gardens. I am hoping for nice not-too-hot weather tomorrow so I can get them planted. I also got weed n’ feed for the lawn and I still need to pick up more mulch. I hope to get the lawn cut, swept and fed tomorrow too if the weather is nicer than today.
And of course we can’t forget the 107 vegetables that need to go in their beds!!!! I hope GJ’s back can withstand the shoveling tomorrow.
